IS JACUZZI & HOT TUB FACILITY CURRENTLY OPERATIONAL?


Jacuzzi in Male & Female locker room are open and are operating as cold plunge. Our guests can access hot tub in swimming pool which has 100 degree Fahrenheit temperature.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE?

Inclusions depend upon the package/program opted by the guest.
Price include a well-appointed room, Ayurvedic therapies, Naturopathic therapies (hydrotherapy, massage, mud therapy, reflexology, dietetics) yoga sessions, acupuncture, all meals, all amenities and all wellness consultation for each guest.
**Prices vary with inclusion of services booked under opted package. **

HOW OLD MUST YOU BE TO STAY HERE?


All guests must be 18 years of age or above to book a reservation. Individuals that are 16 years of age or older may stay at YO1, provided they are accompanied by a consenting adult.

CAN I BRING MY TODDLER/KIDS?


We do not offer toddler care or daycare services on the premises; therefore, we request guests to make prior arrangements at home for their little ones.

CAN I BRING MY PET?


YO1 is a pet-free facility. Only service animals that fulfil the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act will be allowed into the YO1 premises.

CAN I LEAVE THE PROPERTY AND GET FOOD FROM OUTSIDE?


We offer world-class meals and beverages tailored for optimal health and prepared by our chef; therefore, we do not recommend leaving the facility for outside food and drinks.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION POLICY AT YO1?


100% of the entire stay will be charged if the cancellation is done within 7 days from the check-in date, starting 15th March 2022. A new deposit may be required for any modifications to your reservation, including the length of stay, check-in and check-out dates, and the number of guests or rooms, and may also incur a rate change and/or service fees; such modifications are subject to YO1 Longevity & Health Resorts's availability at the time the modification is requested.

WHAT IS THE WELLNESS SERVICES CANCELLATION OR RESERVATION POLICY AT YO1?


Any changes or cancellations made after the 24-hour window, are subject to the full charge for each service. We require 24-hour advance notice in order to cancel or reschedule any service with no charge. **Rescheduling is subject to availability at the time the modification is requested. **

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD INTO THE RESORT PREMISES?


No, our wellness program guest follows a special diet during that stay, and we don’t recommend consuming any outside food during that time. **Please Note: You will be charged for consuming outside food in the atrium, in common areas, or the room.

Check-in is available for guests at 3 p.m. Guests must check-out by 11 a.m.

DO YOU PROVIDE DINING SERVICES ON SITE?


We offer dining menu during your stay at YO1 Longevity & Health Resorts. Lunch is provided from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM and Dinner is provided 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Guests can enjoy fresh, cold-pressed juices from our juice bar* and tea/ coffee/ light snacks from the tea café*.

DO YOU SERVE BREAKFAST TO YO1 GUESTS?


Our detox/program guests follow juice therapy during breakfast hours. Juices have micro-nutrients such as calcium, vitamins and minerals which detox and cleanse the body. It is especially good when taken in the morning. All other guests can enjoy our breakfast spread in the dining room from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

WHAT SERVICES CAN BE PROVIDED IN MY ROOM IF I BOOK A SUITE? HOW MUCH DO THESE SERVICES COST?


Guests can book a private massage in their suite through our wellness concierge 24 hours in advance.
This service is part of the all-inclusive package so long as the service is booked during normal therapy hours. If you should choose an evening therapy, those are available by appointment only through the wellness concierge.

IF I COME LATE, WHAT HAPPENS?

We recommend that Guest should arrive on times, based on the schedule shared by our wellness concierge,created during the time of booking confirmation. If guests are arriving later than planned, please call as soon as possible to alert Wellness Concierge. Rescheduling is subject to YO1 Longevity & Health Resorts's availability at the time the modification is requested.
**In case of cancellation or revised schedule, an advance 24 hours’ notice is required.

DO I HAVE TO BRING MY OWN ROBE?


No, a robe and towels are provided for you in your room. If you are not staying overnight, these linens are available in the locker room.

CAN I ORDER FOOD IN MY ROOM/SUITE?


Guests are requested to eat only in the designated dining spaces on the property.

DO YOU PROVIDE SWIMSUITS, OR CAN I RENT ONE AT YO1?


We request guests to bring their own swimwear.

WHAT ARE THE ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES AT YO1?


An administrative fee of 18% will be added to the invoice of A-La-Carte Wellness & dining Services. Please note that this administrative charge is for administration and overhead costs, is not a gratuity or purported to be a gratuity and is not distributed as gratuities to any employee. If you wish to leave a gratuity, you may do so at your discretion.?

DO YOU HAVE LAUNDRY SERVICES?


Dry cleaning services can be provided to guests for a nominal fee.

DO YOU SERVE GLUTEN-FREE MEALS?


Yes, gluten-free meals are available upon request. We recommend you to highlight your meal preferences during your reservation or prior to the date of arrival.

We have a dedicated Tea Café remains operational on Saturday & Sunday between 6 AM - 2 PM. Also, our tea station in the lobby is available 24 hours.

WHAT IS AYURVEDA?


Practiced by the great sages of ancient India, Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of holistic medicine defined as Knowledge of Life (Ayu meaning life and Veda meaning knowledge). It describes the healthy and unhealthy state of life (mind and body) and describes the methods of balancing unhealthy conditions. Ayurveda focuses on the wellness of every person as a whole. Since every person is different, the wellness therapies also differ and are unique to every individual.

WHAT IS NATUROPATHY?


Human beings have remarkable recuperative powers that can heal the body on its own without external chemical or surgical interference, which simply suppresses symptoms but does not heal nor remove the root cause of the disease. Naturopathy seeks to heal the body by promoting its own internal processes (detox). Naturopathy gives importance to internal hygienic conditions using healing therapies such as Dietetics, Hydrotherapy, Mud therapy, Reflexology, and Massage, among others.

CAN I COME FOR JUST ONE CLASS OF YOGA?


We don’t offer drop-in yoga classes, however, we offer and recommend spending a day at YO1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., which includes yoga sessions. Guests can also buy our Monthly Pass to gain daily access to yoga classes, amenities and more.

CAN I COME AND GET A MASSAGE?

WHEN WILL MY THERAPIES BEGIN?


Either on the day of arrival or during your stay or day of departure. You can meet with a wellness counselor and schedule the therapies, basis the availability.
*Wellness concierge is open 9 am - 5 pm each day*.

WHAT PROCEDURES TAKE PLACE WHEN I ARRIVE?


When you arrive at YO1, the guest receives a welcome folder that contains the consent form, hours of operations, yoga & activity schedule, map of the facility, map of the walking trail, schedule of the therapies, if you have pre-booked, and wrist band based on the type of package the guest has opted for.
Once you are settled in your room, we encourage our guests to go and explore & get familiarized with the facility.

WHAT IS DOSHA?


Dosha refers to the imbalance in each individual’s body. There are 3 types of Doshas –Vata, Pitta, and Kapha

DO YOU ONLY SERVE JUICE?


Juices help cleanse and nourish the body due to the vitamin and mineral content present in various fruits and vegetables. Juices play a particularly significant role in natural cleansing and therapeutic fasting. Under therapeutic fasting, a guest is typically given a maximum of 4-5 glasses of fresh fruit and/or vegetable juices per day at regular intervals of time. Guests on a normal diet are recommended to drink 4 glasses of juices, in addition to their meals, to keep hydrated.

WHAT TYPES OF YOGA DO YOU OFFER? ARE THERE ADVANCED CLASSES?


We offer Kriyas, Asanas (Hatha and Restorative), Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation. These classes include all levels – beginner, moderate and advanced – and guests are guided and helped by our Yoga Instructors based on their comfort and capability. Modifications are always offered when appropriate.
Private instruction is available upon request on a-la-carte prices.

DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT? AFTER THE SESSION, WILL I HAVE PAIN FROM THE NEEDLE INSERTION SITES?


Generally speaking, some people may experience mild sensitivity or sensation throughout the body as the needles are inserted. If there is any pain whatsoever, the therapist will remove the needle immediately, however, most people do not experience pain from acupuncture.

IF A RECOMMENDATION IS MADE, AND I AM NOT COMFORTABLE WITH IT, WHAT HAPPENS?


Recommendations are made by our trained counselors after full assessment of your health and wellness concerns. All the recommendations will benefit you, therefore, we recommend you follow the program fully for your well-being. However, you aren’t forced to participate in any therapies that you are not comfortable with. People suffering from certain conditions, including drug addiction, unstable heart conditions (including stent placement), stage 2 cancer and beyond, communicable diseases such as Tuberculosis/STD/HIV, Hepatitis B, pregnant women, persons who cannot walk for a mile without any support, people who have undergone recent surgery and are on post-surgical care, and people who are on life-support systems and life-saving medicines (critical) should avoid receiving therapies.

WHAT TYPES OF FOOD DO YOU HAVE?


Our culinary program is based on a wholesome, balanced and portioned diet. All the food served at YO1 is vegetarian, locally sourced, and sustainable. You may ask for Vegan & gluten free options as well. The ingredients that are used are free of harmful chemicals, alkaline, and genetic modification to create meals that promote an optimum state of health.

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC THERAPY THAT I KNOW ABOUT?


If there are certain therapies you are interested in, please advise YO1 wellness counselor.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FALL SICK/GET A FEVER DURING MY STAY?


We recommend that you connect with your doctor and get immediate care.

We have beautiful walking trails, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor pool, as well as bikes, activity room equipped with various indoor games for guest use on our property.

We do have movie showtimes daily in the Theatre at 8:30 pm.

Group Yoga is the foundation of Ashtanga Yoga. Both these streams of Yoga, merge into one as Raja Yoga.

No, as you practice the techniques diligently with awareness of breath your flexibility improves.

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD WE PRACTICE YOGA?


Everyday practice gives the desired results, even if it is a short session of 15 min every day.

WHAT SHOULD ONE WEAR DURING YOGA PRACTICE?


We recommend wearing flexible and comfortable clothes while practicing asanas and pranayama.? For e.g. – For bottoms you can go for yoga pants or shorts and for tops- a fitting tee.

WHAT IS A GOOD TIME FOR YOGA PRACTICE?


Early morning, fresh and well rested after overnight sleep is best.

HOW DOES FOOD AFFECT YOGIC PRACTICES?


Food plays a major role. The yogic practices induce the quality of Sattva in us and therefore Sattvic diet helps in enhancing the effect of practices.

SHOULD YOGA TECHNIQUES BE PRACTICED ON AN EMPTY STOMACH?


It is better if it is done on empty stomach. If not 2hrs after a full meal, 1hr after light breakfast and ½ hr. after a cup of Coffee or a glass of juice.

WHAT IS THE ORDER OF PRACTICE FOR YOGA TECHNIQUES?


Cleansing techniques (Shat Kriya), Postures (Yogasana), Breathing techniques (Pranayama) and then Meditation (Dhyana).

HOW DO YOGA TECHNIQUES INFLUENCE MENTAL HEALTH?


All Yoga techniques must be practiced with awareness of breath. Breath is the one which connects the body to the mind. So, when you manipulate the body with conscious breathing it naturally has effects on mental health.

It is a relaxation technique which induces withdrawal of senses, also called as Yogic or Psychic sleep. It can lead to a meditative state.

WHAT TYPE OF CLOTHES SHOULD I BRING/WEAR?


We recommend that guests wear clothes they feel comfortable in. There are no formal events on the property, therefore, casual attire is recommended. Please bring your bathing suit and comfortable walking shoes to be prepared for all activities on the property. A sweatshirt or sweater is recommended year-round.
